Welcome to the 23rd annual Wharton Africa Business Forum (“WABF23”), to be held at the University of Pennsylvania and the historic Loews Hotel in downtown Philadelphia from the 13th – 15th of November, 2015.

With this year’s theme: “My Africa Story: Lessons in business, visions for impact”, WABF will be a platform for present and emerging leaders in business, entrepreneurship and social enterprise to provide deep insights into their areas of expertise by sharing their unique experiences doing business, starting ventures and creating impact in Africa. Through these stories, we aim to highlight the unique challenges present, showcase the massive opportunities that exist and provide case studies of impact creation in Africa to inspire a vision and path for the continent’s future.

As the next generation of leaders in Africa work to realize their visions, it is vital to draw on the lessons, successes and failures of those before them, to maximize the effectiveness of future transformation and development activities.

Success at WABF is to see all our distinguished guests leave the conference with tangible blueprints, applicable lessons, inspiration and insights to be leveraged as they continue to craft their own Africa stories

We look forward to seeing you at WABF. In the meantime, continue to check back in for updates and join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram to share your Africa story #wabf23 #myafricastory.
